It might just be me, but while working on a Diesel RAV4 we got ourselves bitten by a 'support ring' which made it impossible to fix a problem with a leaking TPMS sensor. Had to cut the tire and remove the support ring, to find out the TPMS sensor was not to be saved.

Customer made request to get rid of both the support ring and the TPMS system. There is a trick to fool the TPMS unit, but I thought we would not need it and just could code it out of the configuration, using my maxisys908. So far, I checked all but there is only initialising sensors and checking signals.... no coding option?

Is this function not available (Toyota themselves seem to have this possibility) or am I missing something.
